My name is Alexis Lenderman, and I am a Senior at Western Michigan University. I will graduate in summer 1, 2019 with two bachelors, BBA and BA in Entrepreneurship and Global & International Studies with a certification in Nonprofit Leadership a minor in Political Science. I have completed six study abroad programs to South Africa, India, the Dominican Republic, South Korea, Italy, and Ecuador. Ecuador was fully funded through scholarships from my university and the prestigious Benjamin Gilman International Scholarship. Next summer, I will be traveling to Senegal, Africa to complete my seventh study abroad program which is also the highest number of study abroad programs anyone at WMU has completed. All of these programs have been (or will be) covered by scholarships and/or grants.
I love finding scholarships and helping others find scholarships as well. My Freshman year, I received $10,000 back from scholarships (NO loans!). Each year, my refund is between $3,000-5,000. One of my scholarships, Horatio Alger, was for $20,000 which included a trip to Washington, D.C. for a few days to accept the scholarship.
Recently, I have been named the 2017 Newman Civic Fellow by my university president. From this opportunity, I was one of two students to receive a full scholarship through the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation and Institute to participate in the Leadership and the American Presidency program (partnered with the Fund for American Studies) in Washington, D.C. for the fall semester. While there, I interned at the Congressional Coalition on Adoption and took courses at George Mason University. All of this was covered by scholarships!
I have received the CGI U Commitment-Maker Seal of Approval. This is given to students who have demonstrated a clear passion for change and has developed a Commitment to Action that is new, specific, and measurable in one of CGI U’s five focus areas: Education, Environment and Climate Change, Peace and Human Rights, Poverty Alleviation, or Public Health. Commitment-Makers are part of a growing community of leaders on college campuses around the world who are turning their ideas into action.
I am an aspiring entrepreneur and I highly recommend everyone being the best version of themselves as he/she can be. I promote study abroad and any other opportunity that fits your interests, even if it means pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone.
I would love to help you do this as well! So let me help YOU go to college for Free!

The Questionnaire should only take about 25-30 minutes to complete.
Once you complete that, I will contact you and you can let me know how long you would like for me to search for your scholarships.
